Leading major projects on Neolithic monumentality and Bronze Age connectivity, her research explores late prehistoric connectivity, social relations, monuments, and art in Atlantic Europe (6th–1st millennia BCE), using fieldwork, archaeometry, and digital methods. She has conducted archaeological fieldwork in various countries, including Spain, Portugal, France, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

His current interests include the application of luminescence dating to the construction history of monuments and standing buildings. His recent work also includes application to irrigation features (canals and qanats) and quartz pebbles from early palaeolithic contexts, and computational modelling to refine the assessment of dose rate in complex environments.

With excavation experience in Portugal, western France, and the Channel Islands, his research explores monument-landscape relationships, megalithic construction, and prehistoric mobility as shown by isotopic and ancient DNA analysis, alongside studies of maritime connectivity.

specialises in the emergence and development of monumentality, particularly megalithic architecture, in funerary and domestic contexts across Western Europe during Late Prehistory (5th–2nd millennium BCE). Through innovative methodologies and extensive fieldwork, his research seeks to enhance understanding of the earliest farming and metalworking communities and their cultural evolution.
