Exploring areas

The project will conduct fieldwork in collaboration with our partners at several sites with standing stones thought to be in situ in south-west Iberia, Sardinia and western France. We have chosen these three regions of Atlantic Europe and the western Mediterranean because they have the potential to provide key data to test our working hypothesis that there was more than one centre of origin for megalithic monumentality.
